Track & Field
There are numerous Track and Field competitions available for athletes of all abilities and ages ranging from club competitions to international events.
Open Meetings
Open meetings are available to athletes of all abilities. They are usually organised by clubs and an athlete competes in individual events as an individual.
Sussex U13 league (girls & boys aged 11 and 12)
Sussex U15 League (girls & boys aged 13 and 14)
Southern Athletics league (men & women aged 17 years and over)
Southern Vets League (men & women aged 35+)
County Championships
The county holds Track and Field County Championships every year. The dates are set nationally. The Championships are open to all athletes who are affiliated to England Athletics and athletes compete as individuals.
Inter County Championships
The inter County Championships are split into age groups and the dates are set nationally. The county elects team managers who select the best athletes for each event based on performances throughout the year
