About Haywards Heath Harriers

We are a friendly club aiming to  promote, encourage and develop all aspects of running and athletics in Haywards Heath and the surrounding area of Mid Sussex. We cater for adults and young people aged 9 years and above.

The Club caters for all standards from complete novice to those who are competing at good county or regional level and provides a friendly environment to help all to achieve their athletic goals. We provide an environment where members can build friendships and enjoy training and competition with fellow members.

Tuesday evening is our main 'club' training evening and it is led by a team of dedicated coaches. Many adult members also 'run' in groups on Thursday evenings and sometimes Sunday mornings. Start times and meeting points for these are usually announced on Tuesday evenings but we can also let you know by email if you are interested in joining a group.

We cater for athletes who wish to do road running, cross country  and track and field events . We are involved in a variety of leagues and competitions throughout the year including individual and team events.  These include the West Sussex Fun Run League, Sussex Cross Country league  Sussex Road Race Grand Prix, South Downs Relay, Southern Womens League (inc. U15),  Southern Athletics League, Sussex Vet's League, and Indoor Sussex Sports Hall League (U11, U13 & U15). There are also County championships for Cross Country, Road, Track & Field and Indoor events.
